MOUNT GREYLOCK: A TOWER OF REMEMBRANCE,
Adams, 1 to 2 pm
All ages. This Memorial Day Weekend explore and honor the story of Mount Greylock’s historic Massachusetts Veterans War Memorial Tower. The 93-foot tall monument, crowned
with a beacon light, is the Commonwealth’s tribute to those who gave their lives in the service of their country. The tour also highlights recent $2 million restoration efforts, upgrades,
energy conservation and new visitor amenities. Walking tour duration is 30 minutes. Meet on the summit beside the War Memorial Tower entrance. Route is wheelchair accessible.

The Boys & Girls Club of the Berkshires is excited to introduce a new Basketball Skills Clinic, a free program for Club members aimed at helping young athletes sharpen their basketball fundamentals in a fun and focused environment.

Participants will receive instruction from two of the area's most respected high school coaches:
Coach Bill Heaphy, Head Coach of Taconic Thunder at Taconic High School, will lead the boys sessions.
Coach Kristy Conyers, Head Coach of the Lady Generals at Pittsfield High School, will lead the girls sessions.

The clinic is designed to help players at all levels enhance key basketball fundamentals including shooting, ball handling, passing, rebounding, and defensive skills. Whether athletes are just starting out or looking to elevate their game, the program offers valuable instruction in a supportive, team-based setting.

TEEN BULLYING PRESENTATION FOR TEENS,
North Adams, 6 p.m.

"The Theft of Dignity", Ameliorating Teen Bullying Presentation for Teens, Families, Adults and Educators at the North Adams Public Library. Presented by author Dennis Wise, The Theft of Dignity is an engaging presentation that raises awareness among teens about the impact of peer bullying. Dennis draws on examples from popular culture—including movies, TV shows, and novels, such as his own book, On Your Side. The goal is to connect with teens in a meaningful way, helping them understand the effects of bullying and encouraging a more respectful environment. DENNIS WISE (he/him) is a dedicated advocate against teen bullying, a commitment that inspired him to write On Your Side and develop The Theft of Dignity presentation. With nearly two decades of experience working in television and film as a Screen Actors Guild actor, Dennis brings his performance expertise to his presentations, making them both engaging and impactful. He holds a BA from Harvard University, where his dedication to social justice first began and has only grown throughout his career. This program is funded in part by the North Adams Cultural Council, a local agency supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.

Curated by Mark Franklin who retired from Wahconah Regional High School and while there, started the annual Calliope Cafe in the school cafeteria. In the summer of 2022, he was asked to bring it to The Stationery Factory as a monthly series and open it up to all schools in Berkshire County.Come on out and support these super talented students! This class will focus on drawing from observation, starting with still life and progressing to figure drawing from a live model. You’ll learn how to construct three-dimensional objects, understand proportion and perspective, and explore dramatic shading techniques using both pencils and charcoal. Join this supportive environment to add more tools to your drawing skills toolbox!

Open to 5th-12th graders who live in Lee or go to school in Lee.

CLARK ART BROADCASTS METROPOLITAN OPERA'S PRODUCTION OF "IL BARBIERE DI SIVIGLIA"
