Lenox Advances in State Tournament

LENOX, Mass. – The Lenox girls tennis team Wednesday swept the singles matches to earn a 3-2 win over Frontier in the first round of the Division 4 State Tournament.
 
Katie Shove, Caroline Kump and Caity Giardina each won in straight sets for the Millionaires.
 
Twelfth-seeded Lenox advances to the tournament’s Sweet 16, where it will travel to No. 5 Chasset, a 5-0 winner over Hampden Charter on Wednesday, for a match on a day to be determined.
