Rylander Leads Drury into Sweet 16

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Carson Rylander struck out 13 in 5 and a third innings of work on the mound Monday as the third-seeded Drury baseball team cruised to a 16-0 win over Pathfinder in the first round of the Division 5 State Tournament.
 
Rylander helped his cause by going 2-for-2 with a triple and an RBI at the plate.
 
Lucas Hamilton led Drury’s offense, going 4-for-4 with three RBIs.
 
Brayden Durant was 3-for-5, and Julian Feliciano and JJ Prenguber each doubled in a 16-hit attack for the Blue Devils.
 
Drury (18-3) advances to play its fourth game this season against city rival McCann Tech, a road winner in its tournament opener on Monday, on a day to be announced.
