Monument Mountain Softball Falls at Millbury

MILLBURY, Mass. – Kendal Hargrave went 2-for-3 with a triple and a double Monday to lead the Millbury softball team to a 19-0 win over Monument Mountain in the first round of the Division 4 State Tournament.

 

Brielle Brothers went the distance in the circle, striking out eight and allowing just one hit in the five-inning win.

 

Lexi Carpenter had that one hit for Monument Mountain, which finishes its season with a record of 14-6.
