Odvar Leads Hoosac Valley to Western Mass Win

CHESHIRE, Mass. – Cam Odvar scored four goals Wednesday to lead the Hoosac Valley boys lacrosse team to a 15-6 win over Granby in the semi-finals of the Western Massachusetts Class C Tournament.
 
Max Griffin made nine saves, including the 400th of his career, to earn the win in goal.
 
Kamarion Kastner, Owen Taylor, Adan Wicks and Jayden Tatro added two goals apiece in the win.
 
The Hurricanes opened up an eight-goal lead with a 4-0 third quarter to put the game away.
 
Top-seeded Hoosac Valley now awaits the winner of Friday’s semi-final between McCann Tech and Lenox at BCC. The winner will meet the Hurricanes for the regional championship back at BCC on May 28.
