Keay Goes for Cycle in Blowout Win for Wahconah

DALTON, Mass. – Harper Keay hit for the cycle and drove in five runs Monday to lead the Wahconah softball team to a 25-0 win over Mount Everett.
 
It was a historic day for the Wahconah program as head coach Dustin Belcher earned his 250th win.
 
Keay homered, tripled and doubled in the win. She also split time in the circle with Marlee Arhnold; the pair struck out seven.
 
Sammie Kaley was 2-for-3 with a home run and six RBIs, and Arnhold was 3-for-4 with a double and four RBIs in a 19-hit Wahconah attack.
 
Emily Gilmore was 1-for-3 and stole a base for Mount Everett (2-11), which goes to Monument Mountain on Wednesday.
 
Wahconah (7-9) hosts Lee on Wednesday.
